These conditions apply to the
booking of any Function, Meeting or Conference at Statham Lodge
Country House Hotel.

Confirmation
All bookings are
provisional until confirmed in writing. Provisional bookings will
only be held for 14 days unless alternative arrangements have been
agreed. The hotel reserves the right to release provisional bookings
if a deposit has not been received.
No booking is confirmed until
the deposit and booking conditions acknowledge slip is
received.

Deposits
All
bookings must be secured by letter of confirmation to the hotel and
a deposit of £1000.00 (unless otherwise specified) which the company
regrets is not refundable.

Cancellations
- Weddings
In the event of cancellation,
the hotel should be advised at the first instance verbally,
followed by written confirmation. The deposit is forfeited for all
cancellations.
The hotel reserve the right to charge a
cancellation fee against the total contracted business according
to the notice received, based on the estimated numbers quoted at
the time of booking;
- Within 25-36 weeks 50%
- Within 13-24 weeks 75%
- Within 0-12 weeks 100%
- Accommodation – Function / Weddings
In the event of
cancellation, the hotel must be notified 48 hours before check-in
date, or full charges will apply.
- Accommodation – Corporate
In the event of
cancellation, the hotel must be notified by 10am on day of
arrival, or full charges will apply.
- Conferences
In the event of cancellation, the
hotel must be notified notified within 7 days of the conference
date, or full charges will apply.
The hotel will
endeavour to re-let any cancelled bookings. If successful, this will
be reflected in the charges.

Final
Numbers
Final numbers must be notified at least 48 hours
prior to the commencement of the function, this will be the minimum
number for which you will be charged. Failure to do so will incur
charges on the numbers originally specified in the booking or the
actual number of guests that attended, whichever is the greater.
Where there is no minimum number stipulated at the time of booking,
numbers may drop by a maximum of 10%. If the numbers drop more than
10% cancellation charges will be calculated in accordance with
paragraph 3.

Liability of the
Hotel
The hotel accepts no responsibility for loss or
damage to any property of the customer or its guests other than such
as may be caused as a direct result of any negligent or fraudulent
act or omission of the company.
Any damage to the building or its
contents caused by the customer or its guests is the responsibility
of the customer. The customer agrees to pay the company the full
cost of any company property which is stolen or damaged beyond
repair. Where property is damaged yet repairable the customer will
pay all costs incurred to rectify the damage.
Should the customer
wish to attach items to the walls, floors or ceilings company
consent is required.

Payment
Terms
- Private
Functions - Weddings, Celebrations, Dinners
An estimate
for the event will be submitted and the total amount must be paid
at least two weeks prior to the event. Any further charges must be
paid within 14 days of the invoice.
- Corporate
Events
Where a credit arrangement exists terms are
strictly payment 14 days from date of invoice
- Objections or
Queries
Any customer wishing to raise objections or
queries concerning these accounts must do so in writing within 7
days of invoice date whereupon any amount not in dispute shall be
paid in accordance with the payment terms and any balance
immediately upon the amount being agreed between the Company and
the customer.
